BPC-157 Reconstitution Calculator

Free BPC-157 reconstitution calculator. Enter vial size and water volume to find concentration per unit. For lyophilized vials only.

This BPC-157 calculator computes the peptide concentration when mixing lyophilized powder with bacteriostatic water. Provide the size of the vial and the amount of water so that the required amount of the peptide for a draw can be established. If you are using any BPC-157 capsules, then forget about this. You do not need to mix anything, use a syringe or do any complicated calculations.

Arithmetic only: concentration = amount / volume. For laboratory reference, not medical advice.

How to Use the Calculator

  1. Enter vial size in mg. Check the label on your lyophilized BPC-157 vial. Real Peptides sells a 10 mg vial (SKU RP-BPC10V, $43.20). PeptideGod does not list the milligram amount on their vial, so you would need to confirm with the vendor before using this tool.
  2. Enter water volume in mL. This is the amount of bacteriostatic water you plan to add. Common volumes are 1 mL, 2 mL or 2.5 mL. More water produces a more dilute solution.
  3. Read the concentration output. The calculator shows micrograms per 0.1 mL, which corresponds to one tick mark on a standard 1 mL insulin syringe (100-unit scale).
  4. Record your values. Write down the concentration, date and vial identifier for your lab records.

Capsule Users: You Don't Need This

If you have bought BPC-157 capsules, this does not apply to you. Capsules have a specific quantity of peptide (in the case of Real Peptides there are 500 mcg in one capsule) placed in gelatin or HPMC capsule. There won’t be a need for water, syringe or dilution calculations. You can take the capsule as recommended. For further info, see our best BPC-157 capsules page.

Lyophilized Vials

All BPC-157 provided as lyophilized powder must undergo the process of reconstitution before use. BPC-157 is available in this format from both Real Peptides ($43.20 for 10 mg) and Peptide God ($34.95). The powder will dissolve in bacteriostatic water to form a clear solution. Bacteriostatic water is sold by Real Peptides at $4.80 per 10 mL vial (RP-BAC10V), containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol.

Worked Example

A 10 mg vial mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water produces a solution with 5000 mcg per mL. Each 0.1 mL draw on an insulin syringe delivers 500 mcg. That matches the per-capsule content of the Real Peptides capsule product, but requires manual preparation and refrigerated storage at 2-8 C.
